In spite of the threat of rain, WICA’s 24th annual garden tour was a wonderful success! Thank you to all those who participated to our fundraising event! Despite the clouds surrounding the city center, Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue offered enjoyable weather for our visitors! This year’s fundraiser in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue and Senneville featured seven privates gardens as well as two gardens on the Macdonald campus (the community gardens, and the MSEG). We invite you to have a look at the pictures down below.
Thanks to your support, WICA can continue to provide services to those with unmet needs in the West Island. Thank you to Corbeille de Pain for opening up the MSEG garden and community garden for visitors. Thank you to Dix-Milles Village, Fleurifik and Westmount Florist who sold Garden Tour tickets for us at their stores.
Thank you to our volunteers who provided baked goods, Shirley McCallum, Emily Desrosiers, among others for our refreshment table. And a big thank you to Tanya Bagshaw and gang for their lemonade and scone stand. Thanks to our volunteers who gave up their Saturday afternoon to garden sit, our garden tour committee who puts it all together, and finally, a big thank you to all our host gardeners who shared their beautiful gardens with our participants. Finally, thank you to Virginie Grenier-Deschênes and Niki Firman for the wonderful photos available on Facebook.
