In spite of the threat of rain, WICA’s 24th annual garden tour was a wonderful success! Thank you to all those who participated to our fundraising event! Despite the clouds surrounding the city center, Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue offered enjoyable weather for our visitors! This year’s fundraiser in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue and Senneville featured seven privates gardens as well as two gardens on the Macdonald campus (the community gardens, and the MSEG).

A big thank you to the students of St.John Fisher School who held their annual walkathon for the benefit of local charities. They raised more than $6,000 for West Island Citizen Advocacy, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Youth Unlimited La Corde and the St.John Fisher Social Action committee. Great job kids!
A big thank you to the Pointe-Claire Oldtimers who donated $2,500 to WICA! The donation is a result of their annual hockey tournament which raises money for local community groups.
