Self-Care in Mental Health – October 9th 1:30-3:30pm
This presentation will include a discussion of self-care for those suffering from mental health issues. We will discuss hygiene, domestic cleanliness, exercise, diet, medication, breathing techniques and personal boundaries. The goal will be to offer insights into why the above can be an issue for those with mental illness and to offer strategies for dealing with these problems. The talk is open to the public and no history of mental illness or previous research on the topic is required.
